Girsan MC 14T Tip-Up
Description
The new MC 14T Solution™ by EAA/Girsan focuses on ease of use and high capacity in a very compact design.
Thanks to the Tip-Up design (no slide racking required) loading and firing the MC 14T is simple and quick, using very minimal moving parts to go from loading to firing. “With the Girsan MC 14T Tip-Up we wanted a handgun that was not only small and compact but also allowed people that may have issues with racking a slide the ability to carry.” said Chase Duffey, National Sales & Import Manager at EAA Corp.
“Small enough for a purse, easy to load, and carries 13 in the magazine… it really is the perfect defensive pistol.” Keith Bernkrant, President of EAA stated. “Once we started to work with the Girsan MC 14T Tip-Up, we quickly realized that loading and unloading as well as training is easier with a Tip-Up™ design pistol, as it simply eliminates the need to rack the slide altogether. I wish that we had worked on this project earlier after seeing just how simple and intuitive it is. The Tip-Up barrel MC 14T, with it’s external safety, external hammer and auto firing pin block, is the solution to many pistol owner’s issues and simple safe carry.”
Available in .380 ACP with a 13+1 capacity the Girsan MC 14T is the perfect handgun for concealed carry, especially for people that may have issues using a standard pistol. Loading and firing is as easy as 1-2-3. One of the most important features however may be the price! With an MSRP starting at $498, everyone can afford to be safe.

I bought one of these for my girlfriend because she had shoulder surgery. I’ve fired it a few times at the range myself. Great gun, recommend highly for elderly people with shoulder or hand problems.
David Charles –
Read the online manual and there is no mention if the MC 14T Tip-Up is +P or +P+ rated.
I would hope in 2024 it would be rated +P.

Hi David, we don’t recommend +P ammo use with any of our firearms due to safety concerns

Traded my Black MC 14T Tip-Up with my sister who had a KahrCW 9 that I gave her the year prior. She couldn’t rack the CW9, loves the MC 14T. I missed it, so ended up buying the Gold MC14T, which is REALLY a nice looking gun.

The Girsan MC 14T is a great gun to shoot! I’ve shot it several times and have not had a problem except when it comes time to put it away!
The main reason I bought it was because of the arthritis in my hands. After several trips to the range, the slide has gotten easier to pull. The weight of
the gun was a concern at first. But the MC14T is well balanced and I don’t notice the weight at all. It is now one of my favorite guns to shoot!

My husband showed me this gun to be my everyday carry and I’ve been liking it so far. It was a bit tough to find, but I had my local gun shop find it for me. I love how there are so many options on how to load it or fire it that work for my wimpy frame. I personally struggle to rack slides on almost all handguns, but with this I don’t have to rack it in order to load the first shot. The magazine is a bit hard to load though, so I bought a universal loader to make it easier. But either way, this gun is great for beginners or weaker individuals who struggle to rack slides.

I had the 86 and sold it- the area of the frame that’s extended for the pivot of the barrel is the least attractive part of the 86. While not a fan of rails on a pistol- in this case it makes what is unattractive on the 86 look utilitarian on the 14t. I would like them to stop referring to it as the solution- that sounds like cleaning product. The double stack and the improved tip up lever are natural improvements from the original design. I love it- the finish is great the machining is great and the grips are actually quite nice. On a 10 scale it’s 9+ really nice piece for an amazing price.

Nice compact pistol with a trigger pull that to my “feel” exceeds that of the Beretta 85F I also have.
The tip barrel is a big plus if just for the fun factor. The primary plus in my mind is that for less than one can generally find a used Beretta 84F one can obtain this pistol with at LEAST as solid of a warranty. Im not real sure if Beretta still supports the 84 line but perhaps with their recent intro of the “X” model…….they might. That “X” model retails for roughly twice what this Girsan pistol retails for by the way

Works as advertised, with an exceptional trigger.
