I own only 1911’s,like kimbers 9mm and 45. The Girsan is well built. Have had only one jam in 300 rounds. Another 200 0r so will break it in. I see no issues. I like it a lot. one original mag is a not enough but got after market that work very well and feel good.

I recommend it a good 1911 conceal carry.

I have the 9mm Ultimate. Because of the cost of ammo these days I have only put three hundred rds through the pistol. There have been no failures of any kind. Fit and finish and overall quality are excellent. When good shooting practices and discipline are correct this pistol does its part, extremely accurate. My only problem is the fact that I have only the one mag that came with the pistol, Number of rds available is important in self defense situations as well as shot placement. Bottom line is that I have at least 200 more rds to put through pistol before I can place it in my carry rotation…. Which brings me to this point… Extra mags at this time are not available…I have tried other mags that are said to fit.. they don’t. One other point…I do not like to work around factory specs, especially for my EDC…I can’t give this pistol 5 stars because of the mag problem. Until that is corrected it can never go into my carry rotation. Great pistol Girsan…now finish the job and get some mags out to us.

My MC1911 SC Ultimate in 9mm is a little tack-driver. Excellent carry size and rather pretty to look at. Grip feels superb and fits my hand nicely. My only complaint would be finding magazines to feed it. The one magazine it came with I feel is a bit sketchy to load with the rounds looking like they want to ‘surf’ inside the magazine. I bought after market Mec-Gar magazines that work great. I am very comfortable betting my life on this handgun.

I have owned over 20 1911 45 pistols. Fullsize, commanders, officers. 14 kimbers. S&w, Sig, Remington and Les Baer. This Girsan SC is one of the best. With over 500 rds of mixed 45 ammo I had
one failuer to eject in the first 3 rounds. All other rounds fired and ejected. The accuracy is second to none with these adjustable sights. The trigger is smooth and light. This Girsan is actually
a pleasure to shoot. It is well built, light and accurate. The Aluminum frame and steel slide are machined not mim parts.I recommend this 45 to anyone who wants a carry 45.You can BET YOUR LIFE ON IT I DO.
