Description

The next-generation Girsan Double Stack Witness2311® CMX Series takes the 1911 platform to a new level. Built to be compatible with many 1911 slides, barrels, and parts, the CMX isn’t just another “double stack” trying to look the part, it’s a true evolution of the 1911 design, upgraded with match grade features where it matters most.

The CMX refines the double-stack 1911 platform by replacing the traditional 1911 grip safety with an Auto Firing Pin Block, allowing for a slimmer grip. A low-profile magwell improves concealability, while aggressive texturing locks in control.

Precision slide cuts reduce weight for faster cycling and improved balance.

Auto Firing Pin Block

The grip safety is gone, replaced by an internal automatic firing pin block.

360° texturing delivers a secure hold and improved control.

Next-Gen Double Stack 1911

The CMX is built for modern carry setups with a direct-mount RMSc optic cut and full dust cover and accessory rail for lights or lasers. Built around the 4.25" barrel 1911 double-stack platform, it pairs an updated grip module and internal safety mechanism with the familiar feel, performance, and versatility of the 1911.

If the gun is a used handgun and the owner is not the original owner, then the factory warranty is no longer valid. EAA will still service the used handgun, but there will be an estimate for the repair. The service tech(s) will not begin repair work until the customer has been notified with an estimate for the repair.

Long Guns

If it is a long gun and is owned by the original owner, the gun can be sent to EAA for repair. This will require that the gun to be returned to our service department at:

Return Shipping

A) Handguns: If sent via A FFL Dealer, return freight is $20 and shipped via USPS. If not sent via an FFL holder, return freight is $60, shipped via UPS next day air. (This is the law)
B) Long Guns: Return freight is $20, shipped via UPS ground.
C) For the fastest return of your firearm: It is recommended that you include your email and billing address with your firearm when you ship it in for repair. This will help to expedite the return shipping process. If the information is not included along with your firearm, EAA Corp. service department will call to receive payment prior to return shipment.
