Girsan Witness2311 Match X

Description

The Girsan Witness2311 Match X is a full-size, lightweight double-stack 1911 chambered in 9mm, designed to deliver performance and value. It features an integrated barrel compensator that reduces felt recoil, improving control and accuracy.

A fully adjustable, serrated rear sight pairs with a fiber optic front sight for fast alignment.The rear sight cap is removable to accept RMSc footprint optics. A tuned 4.5 lb trigger delivers a smooth take-up and crisp break out of the box.

Lightening Cut Slide

Precision lightening cuts reduce slide mass for a faster, more responsive feel.

Compensated Barrel

Helps reduce muzzle rise for a flatter shooting experience.

Fiber Optic Front Sight

Return Shipping

A) Handguns: If sent via A FFL Dealer, return freight is $20 and shipped via USPS. If not sent via an FFL holder, return freight is $60, shipped via UPS next day air. (This is the law)
B) Long Guns: Return freight is $20, shipped via UPS ground.
C) For the fastest return of your firearm: It is recommended that you include your email and billing address with your firearm when you ship it in for repair. This will help to expedite the return shipping process. If the information is not included along with your firearm, EAA Corp. service department will call to receive payment prior to return shipment.

What a world we live in that you can get within spitting distance of a Staccato XC for $1,149.99. This gun is hands down the grown jewel of my handgun lineup. Got the Special summer edition that came in a little orange an white cooler as the case. This gun is the perfect way to get in to 2011 style handguns at a very reasonable price. There are NO other guns near this price where the compensator IS part of the barrel. It’s not pinned on or screwed on, it IS the barrel. And that thing is putting in work.

Now, my gripe. They include a 14lb and 16lb recoil spring with it. Both are far too heavy. I threw in an 8lb with a shock buffer and now we’re in air rack city. At this price, this gun is made to be modded. If you’re like me and the stock grip is lacking to you. Oh no, MJD Solutions Villain grip and magwell.

This gun is impressive (at its price point) when compared to the Staccato XC. The gun is smooth and very accurate. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks and I’m still trying to tune it to the XC specs. So far a few so good!

Going from my Staccato to the Match X was shocking, this Match X is surprisingly great. 1 major issue I have is the magazine ejector button is the hardest to push of All my guns, it should be much easier for this type of gun. The Match X shoots easy and accurate, and is comfortable. It is odd the slide is skinny like an actual 1911 and not standard “2011” size to accept RMR size optics for matches! I recommend this gun over a Prodigy.

Great Gun. Was shocked initially when it came in a mini cooler but that made it all the more cool. Not 1 issue after 700rds. Trying to pair a good budget red dot next, and oh yes, this is my EDC.

I stopped by a buddies shop in Manassas Virginia and he had the Girsan Witness2311 Match X in stock. He let me hold it and operate the slide. I ended up picking it up and can say that I’m super excited to take it to the range. It’s so fluid with it’s operation. He had a Staccato there too and I compared them. Yes, the Staccato is a very nice firearm, but paying $1,180 vs shelling out $5K+ for the similar feel is a no brainer. If you’re in the market for a 2011 style pistol. Definitely look at the Match X. You won’t be disappointed.
