European American Armory Corp. presents the highly anticipated Witness2311 XXX Series, featuring two compact double stack 1911s built for everyday carry. The series combines key features that push the limits of what is possible in a slim, high-capacity double-stack 1911, all at an impressive price point.
EAA Corp, in collaboration with Girsan Firearms, set out to reduce the overall footprint of the double stack 1911 platform without sacrificing performance, interchangeability or capacity. The result is a compact design featuring a reduced, high-texture grip module, a 3.4-inch barrel, a low-profile magwell, and an ultra-slim magazine developed in partnership with Check-Mate.
“We reduced the size of our existing double stack grip module, magwell, and magazine as much as possible, resulting in a grip that is approximately 25 percent smaller. It is the most compact double-stack 1911 we have ever produced while still retaining a full 16+1 round capacity,” said Chase Duffey, Sales Director at EAA Corp.
The Witness2311 XXX Series is offered in two configurations:
The CMX XXX takes the Witness2311 platform a step further by replacing the traditional 1911 grip safety with an internal automatic firing pin block. With an MSRP of $899, it is the most feature-packed model in the lineup.
With an MSRP of $599, the SC9 XXX offers an accessible entry point into the series. Its all-black Cerakote finish provides a clean, understated look while delivering all the features expected from a double stack 1911.
Both XXX models are now available for pre-order through EAA distributors. An special CMX XXX package with additional magazines will be available at Academy Sports + Outdoors® stores by October 2026 nationwide.
