EAA will still service the used handgun, but there will be an estimate for the repair. The service tech(s) will not begin repair work until the customer has been notified with an estimate for the repair.
Long Guns
If it is a long gun and is owned by the original owner, the gun can be sent to EAA for repair. This will require that the gun to be returned to our service department at:

Return Shipping
A) Handguns: If sent via A FFL Dealer, return freight is $20 and shipped via USPS. If not sent via an FFL holder, return freight is $60, shipped via UPS next day air. (This is the law)
B) Long Guns: Return freight is $20, shipped via UPS ground.
C) For the fastest return of your firearm: It is recommended that you include your email and billing address with your firearm when you ship it in for repair. This will help to expedite the return shipping process. If the information is not included along with your firearm, EAA Corp. service department will call to receive payment prior to return shipment.

B. Addison –
Fired about 200 rounds of two different brands of 9mm range ammo and experienced no malfunctions caused by the firearm. I did find that Act-Mag 17 round magazines (I have 6 of them, same with all of them) were difficult to remove from the magazine well. The slide seemed to attempt to lock back but actually get jammed up on the magazine on its way back to closing. I had to pull back the slide and engage the slide stop, then press the magazine release button forcefully in order to extract. The Mec-Gar and Beretta-made magazines worked perfectly. With the pistol using the “hand pinch” method of gripping the rear of the slide with the fingertips on one side and the heel of the palm on the other side I did not experience any difficulty with the decocking lever swinging down into the Safe position. I did find the double-action first shot to be long and heavy. I am hoping that this would be less of an issue with practice or with the adrenaline dump needing to use the pistol. I’ll have to practice shooting it in double-action mode more in the future and go back to the gym. I was able to get center of mass shots at 21 feet with the three-dot irons, but on the second target I was having trouble getting headshots on the silhouette. Unfortunately, my eye-dominance is left eye, while my handedness is right, so I have to close my left eye to look down the sights or attempt to shoot with both eyes open. The latter was easy enough for torso shots but seemed to be a problem with the headshots after about 150 rounds of shooting. I’ve had my eye on the Beretta M9A4, but this pistol was giving me what I wanted for half the price. Reliability is a top priority, so I am pleased with this purchase. The two-tone look is nice and I like the flair of the twisted, fluted barrel, reminiscent of an LWRCI AR-15 barrel.

The gun is spot on accurate out of the box and the slide is buttery smooth like you would expect from a handgun you would pay 4x as much for. I own multiple firearms by multiple manufacturers. Springfield, Smith and Wesson, Taurus, etc. The fit and finish of this weapon combined with it shootability makes this one of my favorite.
